The restaurant
Skyline is the rooftop bar with pool of Hotel il Faro, on the fourth floor, above the fishing village of Marina Piccola in Sorrento. From the wooden terrace the view sweeps across the Gulf of Naples, from Vesuvius to Capo Miseno, and at sunset the sea turns orange while the lights of the coast come on.
Cocktails over the gulf
By day you relax by the pool among the blue sunbeds, with a cool drink and a view of the harbour; in the evening the tables light up and the rooftop becomes a lounge bar for aperitivo and after dinner drinks, with classic cocktails and house creations. In summer Skyline also hosts themed evenings.
The menu is online and tables can be booked on the website. Getting there: from Piazza Tasso head down towards Marina Piccola, with a public pay car park about 50 metres away.
