Privacy policy
Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), here is what data Sorrento Web processes and why.
What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the text of the message you send us.
- Technical data: the server records the IP address and the requests for security reasons (logs), kept protected and only for as long as technically necessary.
- Favourites: the places you save with the heart stay only in your browser (local storage on your device) and are neither sent to us nor stored by us.
Why we process it
To answer your requests, for the security of the website and to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is your consent and the request you make (art. 6.1 a and b GDPR) and, for security, the controller's legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f).
For how long
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months; security logs only for as long as technically necessary.
Who can see it
Only the controller and the technical suppliers running the site (hosting, email), appointed as data processors. Data is never sold or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Bookings
Sorrento Web does not handle bookings: the “Book” links and the contacts lead directly to the properties, which process your data as independent controllers under their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data by writing to info@sorrentoweb.com, and lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante, garanteprivacy.it).
